In the past five days I've noticed a few random illogical names pop up as newly registered users on the website,
last night and today however, this behaviour and number of new users have increased dramatically.

Because of this, I've decided to immediately require users to link their discord account. You'll be promted to link your discord account next time you visit the website.
In addition to this, new users who has a seemingly random string of letters as their username on the website will be deleted with no further warning by tomorrow.
As some of these obvious fake accounts have managed to get through reCapcha, alongside email verification, I'll be currently focusing on how and why this is happening,
alongside what further measures I need to do to fix this before focusing on any of the new developments I'll be mentioning in the next post.

Because of the mentioned actions I will be taking above, I cannot guarrantee that your website account will stay up, especially if you have a name that looks seemingly random,
however so far I see no evidence of any fake accounts going back in creation further than 5 days, so if your account is older than that you should be fine, as I won't do any actions on accounts created before then.
And even if your account is mistakenly deleted, there won't really be any losses as currently the website do not have much of a function that requires an account, except for staff applications.
